About My Work:
I experiment with media, exploring people, birds, and my environment to create captivating illustrations and art. I believe that working with my hands helps me to explore my environment and reflect on ideas. I am on a mission to show that the relationship between people and nature, whether through creation or depiction, is essential for well-being.

Currently I have limited edition artist-embellished prints (prints that I have altered in some way to make each original) available at the Gallery at York Hall in Yorktown, Virginia. I will also make original and limited edition artist embellished prints available on my website in the near future. Until then I am open for commissions (pay me to create a piece just for you).

About Me:
I was always one to doodle when I needed to process ideas (meditation) or solve a problem. This later evolved to pursuing and completing a Bachelor"s of arts degree in craft and material studies at VCU. During this creative time, I developed strong organizational, problem-solving, and planning skills by learning how to create a solution to a prompt, using traditional and digital means to create a 3-d plan, and then figuring out how to best create it by working with various materials including wood, precious metals, fiber, ceramics, and glass. This continues to affect the work that I do today.
I am constantly eager to learn about new processes and materials, whether it be mixing traditional media or exploring digital graphic design and illustrative work. I love the process of helping others to realize a design, whether its a Logo for their business/cause, highlighting a wedding moment, or creating a design that reflects the memories of those that have passed.

I love to create unique and visual solutions to peoples problems and am inspired by beautiful moments in nature: the breathtaking moment you see wildlife, enjoying the moment of rain, hearing an owl, and the squishy moss on my walks in nature parks and near the ocean.
